Today I visited a wonderful art gallery in downtown Salem, OR called Pheromone.  It is insect artwork by Christopher Marley.  Very beautifully done.  He has books and various prints of his originals etc. But the actual artwork is quite fantastic.  Above and beyond just a collection of bugs behind glass.  He also has other organic displays of shells, crustaceans, geodes, coral, etc. The prices are not outrageous either (though artwork is not in my budget at the moment). 
Look for his work in other venues around the country...It seems he has some notoriety.  Rightfully so!
